Food Safety

 

Food Safety is implemented through the application of self-control procedures which provide for checks during the receipt of the products, during storage and processing operations, up to transport and delivery to our customers, ensuring compliance with the cold chain.

Checks are also carried out on the distributed products at various stages of the distribution or processing cycle in order to verify the compliance of the foods in terms of labelling, microbiological and product characteristics, absence of residues or prohibited substances.

Recall notices are published in the event that private label products or products imported by MARR have reached the final consumer, in compliance with the provisions of EC Reg. 178/02 and with the indications provided by the Ministry of Health.
